KKN MEKAR BANJAR UGM 2025
The Adat Dalem Tamblingan community is a traditional people living in the Catur Desa villages of Munduk, Gobleg, Gesing, and Umejero around Lake Tamblingan, Buleleng. They trace their roots to the ancient Tamblingan civilization and remain steadfast in Piagem Gama Tirta — ancestral values that hold sacred water (tirta) as the source of life and cosmic balance.
Lake Tamblingan is regarded as a sacred landscape protected through the alas kekeran (forbidden forest) system, reflecting harmony between people and nature. Daily life is guided by customary institutions and spiritual leaders who preserve tradition and perform rituals at ancestral temples.
Their digital legacy is Website Catur Desa — an interactive record of the region’s territory, cultural fragments, environment, social infrastructure, and the four Adat Dalem Tamblingan villages. The source remains open on GitHub.
